POVERTY IN THE LIFE OF CHILDREN.
The poor child is a young person who does not have the necessities of life.
Poverty is an attack on the child’s ability to survive, it is a barrier to its development and development in all its dimensions (physical, mental, emotional, cultural, social and spiritual).
Generally, a child is poor because he was born in poverty. Poverty breeds poverty. A child lives in poverty because his family or country faces poverty. Thus, the child is vulnerable, he undergoes various forms of violence; abuse; negligence; because of poverty. According to the UN,
Today, 30,000 children die each day from causes directly related to poverty.
Child poverty results in a real deprivation of childhood and leads to a violation of all its rights, which are: the right to EDUCATION; to health; ACCESS TO DRINKING WATER; FOOD; to HOUSING; SECURITY and SOCIAL PROTECTION.
The ONG RSA (SOLIDARITY NETWORK FOR AFRICA) is committed to protecting the rights and welfare of poor children in Africa, by implementing a child protection policy that consists of GLOBAL CARE poor children; vulnerable; and abandoned, within the social centers of reception of the ONG RSA.
